EU Data Act Related Product Information

Connected product: MPP Equipment (McCloskey, McCloskey Environmental, Tesab & Lippmann fitted with Tedd Engineering Modems)

MPP Equipment generates product data, such as hydraulic pressure, oil temperature, feeder speed, power, cavity level. This data is not stored locally and is only used for snapshots of the equipment state sent to the 365SiteConnex website. A snapshot of parameters is sent at agreed intervals – the longest of these being 20 minutes. The volume of this data is generally around 1 Mb per month. MPP Equipment generates data continuously and in real time. MPP Equipment also generates other data which is stored locally such as error codes and CSS / wear data, and this can be exported locally to a USB memory stick in CSV format. MPP Equipment stores generated error codes and CSS / wear data locally, indefinitely. This data can be erased by contacting your local dealer. Other generated machine data is not stored locally. Users can view MPP Equipment data from the device display or, where purchased, the 365SiteConnex website. Data is stored on the 365SiteConnex website for up to 36 months. Users of 365SiteConnex website can erase the data and / or download it in JSON format at any time directly through the platform. The terms relating to retrieving and use of data are set out in the MPP Equipment purchase agreement.

MPP, its affiliates, their contractors and/or agents may use readily available product and related service data for the purposes of performing services to the user and developing, marketing, selling and/or providing MPP’s and its affiliates’ and contractors’ products and services.

User can contact the data holder and request data sharing by sending an email to: data.request@teddengineering.com For clarity, the user is entitled to request ending the sharing of data at any time by sending an email to the address above. In case an alleged infringement of Chapter II of the Data Act (EU 2023/2854), a user has the right to lodge a complaint with the local competent authority.

The duration of the contract (being in force either for a fixed duration or until further notice) as well as termination rights are specified in the parties’ written agreement.
